Prediction Market Liquidity
Prediction markets can add useful price discovery, but the displayed price and the amount available at that price are separate facts.
Price needs size
A market can display an attractive quote with very little available to trade. Bettor Odds shows available liquidity where the provider supplies it so the price has context.
Order books can be lopsided
More money on one side can indicate where available orders are concentrated. It does not guarantee the direction of the next move or the outcome.
Outliers need safeguards
A thin or stale quote can distort a fair estimate. Quality checks should separate suspicious displayed prices from the independent sources used to estimate fair value.
Check the destination
Open the market and confirm both price and available amount before submitting. Prediction-market links can behave differently on mobile, so the final screen is authoritative.
